Screening

A man with a beard wearing sunglasses, a baseball cap, and a beige t-shirt, is sitting on a sandy surface in a park, playing with a young boy with dark hair who is lying on the ground. The boy is wearing a dark jacket and brown pants and is engaged in a game or activity with the man.

A focused snapshot of where your child is currently functioning.

A screening provides:

  • clinical observations

  • discussion of strengths and challenges

  • regulation and sensory insights

  • practical recommendations for home and school

  • guidance on whether additional support may be beneficial

Recommended for families who:

  • are unsure whether ongoing therapy is needed

  • want guidance before committing to services

  • have recently completed an occupational therapy evaluation elsewhere

  • are looking for targeted recommendations and next steps

This option is often appropriate when a child has already completed a recent OT evaluation within the past year.
